Robert Motherwell’s suggestion that the “question of what will emerge is left open” is central to my work:  ideas, knowledge and concepts are not starting points but only earned via an experimental process of making; this process embraces accidents/seeks formal coherence, negotiates tensions between memory and amnesia, and between life experience and its reshaping via questioning art traditions and mediums. My aim for the future is to get my own studio space and continue to paint.
